Army Men 3-D - PSX Anyone who sat wide-eyed and enchanted though the scenes of the marvellous Toy Story will find themselves intrigued by Army Men 3-D. Remember the 'Bucket O'Soldiers' toy pieces who went on a vital reconnaissance mission? The more dated ones of us may remember the actual figures - single colour, cheaply moulded plastic GI troops, set in rigid positions each with their own plinth on which to stand. Army Men sees these soldiers come to life in a battle between the tan-coloured army and the green-coloured army, kind of like Small Soldiers in World War 2! In this game you take on the role of plastic green army men and there are various different options of the game to play. The Boot Camp is a training mission where every weapon is used to try to kill static opposition forces. For first time players I recommend this option as it gives an understanding of how each weapon can be used. The New Game is where you start a new campaign. With this option you have to complete many missions against the brown opposition army. The 2-player mode is very good.
