... difficulty but it depends on what level you are at the time. Ulgoth's Beard is a full town, similar to the others you will encounter i.e. it has shops, a tavern, an inn etc. and it is from here that you go to the various other expansion additions. It also has it's own little quest. Overall the expansion is a decent addition. It certainly adds quite some time to the game and the quality of play matches BG. The expansion fits in nicely with the rest of the game as you can complete it at any time....more

Four areas doesn't sound like an awful lot but Durlag's tower has several levels and takes quite some time to get through not only because of the difficulty of certain bosses but also if you hoard loot you'll find yourself having to take several trips outside to sell items you've obtained. Please note that this is not a game in it's own right, it is an add-on or expansion pack if you like! Basically this means that you have to have "Balders Gate" already installed on to you computer, or it just won't work! Because of this I will not mention much about "Balders Gate" because you to have to have installed it before this item will be of any use to you. This expansion adds some new areas to the game and is designed to fit in, not at the end of the game but a couple of chapters before the end. I will explain this further later! ...  Read the complete review
