I thought I would make a change by reviewing an old PS1 game. What a way to start by reviewing Bishi Bashi Special.

What I liked about this game was that it is fun for all ages and for everyone really. Bishi Bashi Special is basically two Bishi Bashi games merged into one. These were very popular with the Japenese people and they loved the game...I wouldn't be surprised if they still come back to it even its the PS2 they are more interested in.

In total, there are over 80 games to play. Some are really funny such as the Hyper Pie Throw which you, a bride, runs and throws a pie the furthest you can and hit a guest. When it hits one, everyone apart from the one wo got hit stands up and claps. Another is the one you repeat the sequence with the afro men. When you get the sequence right, your afroman's hair grows bigger every time. When it fills half the screen, you win!

It has been 4 years since the release of Bishi Bashi Special and it was the best game I have ever played on the PS1 for ages. You know what? It's still one of my favourites amongst the PS2 games. I wish they'd be one now for the PS2. It'll be more crazy and funnier then ever probably if it did happen!

The most fun comes when you have friends with you playing. You can go head to head or even build a tournament up and see who's the master of Bishi Bashi. The mini-games would be picked at random when played to keep it a surprise or you can go in and pick a game manually.

The only downside to it is the graphics. I know you all probably say it's PS1 graphics but I thought it would have looked better. It looked rushed.

Sold the game about two years ago and I have regretted this ever since. I am going to get it again tomorrow in my college break and enjoy the fun of Bishi Bashi Special once again. Anyone who is looking for classic and great PS1 games only should buy this. Recommended!! The game would be only a few quid in game stores now as it is old and PS1 games have gone down in price so grab a copy! You seriously need a good reason not to!!
