Bomberman fantasy race is a spin off from the bomberman series and was released in 1999.

In the game you choose a bomberman to race with and an animal to race with either a louie or tirra. The aim is to become beat every race so you can proceed to the next. You can also buy a ticket to enter a race, you earn money by coming either 1st - 3rd in a race. There are 7 race courses all in all.

The money can also get you newer animals, which is pretty much the update to the louie and tirra, just different colours. All better at other things such as, speed, jumping endurance an so on. The higher the cost, the better the animal.

As the title stats the game is fantasy racing, and the race courses are just that. Whilst racing on the course you can pick up items on the floor there seen as a question mark as the one you get is random. This can either be bad or good. Some of the things you can get include a stop watch so the other racers stop and you have the chance to get ahead, faster speed, bombs, rockets, but others can slow you down or even make your animal poo.

Also on the race course you can find missing routes to try and get you a head of others, and jump on a spring to help your animal get far quickly or get over big gaps. Your animal also sprints but has a limit as of how long he can do it for.

I liked bomberman but i love this. I love racing games even though I hardly win, but with this i do! Which is probably why i like it so much! I win finally! The only thing i would say about this game is that its short and over quickly.
