GAME PLAY

This game is so much fun especially in multiplayer. Its the sort of game that all of the family can play. Its easy to find your way around and very straight forward. Its not complicated at all. Other bomberman games are also available on other systems including the PC and on xbox. They are all excellent and there the sort of games you can play hours on end and you still wont get bored off them. I would put this on the top of my list for the most fun games iv ever played.

THE IDEA

The idea is quite simple there are many cute brightly colored characters to choose from. Once you enter into the game you will see yourself in very cool brightly colored 3D levels which display great design and detail. I was amazed at just how cool this game is every aspect of it is great and entertaining. The more players the better especially when its people you know and not computer bots. You basically get bombs and you blow up obstacles to get to your awaiting victims and when you get there you plant a bomb and run.

Its so funny if you stick them in a place and they have no way out plus there's the bonus off awesome power ups which lie beneath the walls or other obstacles once you wreak havoc on them. You have to plant the bombs once you decide to use one relatively fast so as they don't blow up in your face. The power ups are a nice addition they give your character special abilities which mostly work in your favor.

WAYS TO PLAY

There's two great options for playing this game and both are great fun.

ONE PLAYER MODE

The idea is to plant bombs in the level to destroy all of the objects surrounding you and your enemies, and to walk around picking up gems to get you further up in the levels this mode is quite fun but its nothing to the multiplayer mode.

MULTIPLAYER MODE

Multiplayer mode is where the real fun begins upto five people can play and the levels are just so much more fun playing along with people you know. Why? I don't know maybe its the fact that if one of the players happened to of got on your nerves that day you get fun virtual revenge but no all joking aside the more likely reason is because as a family you can play it and its a excuse to have time together, to let your hair down and laugh til you get a stitch in your side, which is more than likely to happen to you at least once if you decide to play in this mode. Its even a excuse for friends to spend time together blowing each other up in the various fun levels however one thing that irritates me about it is that playing multiplayer against the bots seems almost fixed the bots seems to know every move. Its bizarre how hard it is to play against them. I recommend playing real people because thats where the fun to be gotten from this game lies waiting.




MY OPINION

This game provokes some very funny reactions. If your in a room full of people playing multiplayer you will see the full benefits of this game. In my house the air turned blue with my mum me and my sis cursing each other every time we got blown up. You would think because its quite a simple idea it would get boring or the fascination would wear off but it really didn't at least not for me or my mum. We where playing it every night and my sis joined in when she was there too. Its a very addictive game and could make even the most miserable person smile when they have a particularly well thought of move and they place there bomb then coyly sit waiting as the bomb ticks preparing to blow there opponent into another dimension.

PRICE

This is available on ebay with free p&p for just 7.99 and it will not be much dearer elsewhere. Its extremely well priced giving how good this game is.
