Advantages: great game for its time, fully licensed, loads of game modes

Disadvantages: not for the non-cricket fans

Haha this was my favorite game about 10 years ago and brings back great memories, was a brilliant game and i still turn it on now and again for a bit of fun, i had this game for the sega and then the ps1 and im considering buying it now for the xbox.

The game was fully licenced and had all the best players of its generation and also a team of world XI which include the best players of all time and of course the master himself Brian Lara.

The gameplay itself was good with a large variety of shots, bowling actions and fielding types.

I used to love playing test matches and spending the day batting to get about 500 runs it was a very realistic game for its time and it was just as hard to get the opposition out.

There was a variety of game modes including 10 over matches 50 over matches and the traditional test match, it also had a few different game types such as the world cup.

This was my favourite and most played game on the playstation. It is availible now on all the new consoles for between 20 and 40 pounds and well worth a go, i'll definately be having a wee go on it for the xbox.

Summary: awesome cricket game!

I'd love to see a review for the Xbox360 if you decide to get it, I bought it twice previously on different formates once very good, once very bad.
