Advantages: Stobbart, gameplay

Broken Sword 2 is the second instalment from revolution games and there are even more fun, laughs, adventure and danger with George Stobbart, much more than an American tourist now.

This game starts with Nico and George visiting a museum and ancient artefact expert, who asks them to come to his house to discuss Nico's discovery of a Mayan stone, at the house they are kidnapped and trapped, Nico taken away, now it's up to George to get out of the house tied to a chair in a burning building and find out what is going on.

The storyline isn't quite as good as the first game I don't think, nor is the setting of some of the places, no more Syria, Ireland or Scotland which were brilliant venues for the game, the gameplay itself I believe is better, the graphics and being able to double click to go up stairs rather than wait for George to mundanely walk up them.

The game itself is still brilliant and the partly interactive cut scenes are great, such as one occasion you have to save Nico from death, which is another good aspect of the game, I think they reduced Nicos character a bit for this game unfortunately, I think she was better as just a journalist but at least she was playable as an action role.
