Advantages: C&C brand name

Disadvantages: Poor missions

Command and Conquer: Renegade is an above average game, with fairly decent graphics and sound, but nothing more than that. There are all of the usual C&C treats – you can jump into buggies and mammoth tanks and shoot the hell out of the enemy, but I found this slightly boring after a while as there is no real structure to the missions, the are all about killing a certain amount of soldiers and destroying buildings.

I suppose this is the C&C theme, destroy the enemy. Whilst this is fine in a strategy game I think it’s a bit boring and mundane for a shooter.

I’d recommend Medal of Honour: Allied Assault if you want a decent game with a good missions.
