The disadvantage that Colony wars has is that you can't fulfill that X-Wing piloting fantasy. It's not a major disadvantage though, there's a lot in this game to recommend it. Controls are easy to master and you can tweek your skills with ...

Colourful courts that are varied in appearance
Terrible controls, dated visuals, naff sound, no longevity

Nice handling, quite a few courses, track editor, solid graphics
Slow, gets stupidly hard, poor sound, unforgiving physics

Quite nice visuals, solid survival-horror action, good locations
Severely unoriginal, poorly devised puzzles, gawd-awful voice-acting
