Crash 2 is as strange and as wacky as the first one with a few differences, the graphics are cartoonier and better, it’s a longer game and the levels and game play are better. After defeating Cortex the first time you find yourself being teleported into a strange room with portals and Cortex says that he needs 25 crystals to save the world, when he’s really trying to trick you into collecting the crystals to power his ship to rule the world, and because your Crash you so dopey as to believe him. So you enter all of these portals and eventually get the 25 crystals when you find out that you’ve been tricked. The only way to stop Cortex now is to ... Read the complete review

The Crash is back and so is his enemy Cortex. Crash Bandicoot and his sister are relaxing on a beach and his sisters laptop has ran out of batterys. She sends him to go look for some, and then suddenly Crash is transported to a strange warp room with different levels to complete. Cortex appears to tell Crash about his new discovery, crystals. He tricks you into collecting these crystals so he can power his ship in outer space. And so you move through the levels collecting not knowing that your helping evil run its course. Cortex strikes back only costs about 15 to 20 pounds in most game stores. The game has not improved much from the last version, the ... Read the complete review

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is the second game in a long series of Crash Bandicoot games and it doesn't fail to impress. In the first Crash game you are on islands and have to work your way around the different levels. In this second crash game, you are in a series of circular rooms, or Warp Rooms as they are known in the game with 5 level entrances in each room, a save/load screen and a central pad. The aim of the game is to enter all the levels of the game and collect the large pink crystals. You have to do this because Neo Cortex has captured you and makes you collect the crystals for him for an experiment. There is one pink crystal in each of ... Read the complete review

Crash 2 is a great platformer that any playstion owner should have. While beating the game might be a little on the easy side, beating the game and getting all the gems and secret levels you need to get 100% is not. If you are a perfectionest you will enjoy that feature. And don't knock the game because of its cute appearance, it has enough depth for even older gamers to play it. And it also has amazing graphics, (No pop up or draw in at all) control(especially with an analog controller), and depth to keep players coming back until they have 100%. And trust me you will not beat it in a week, it will take time. Just be prepared to sacrifice alot of live for som of the ... Read the complete review

I really enjoy playing this game. It has great graphics and a n easy to follow "storyline", very much on hte lines of Sonic the Hedgehoge for the Sega. The game is easy to play and the levels can be completed quickly by getting a chrystal, but to get all of the Gems taks quite a bit more skill - not to mention time. Watch out for the bonus sections and hidden areas to gain more lives and break all of the boxes for the end of level bonus gem. It can take a little time to work out what to do with the inter-level baddies but stick with it if only to rodeo ride the polar bear!! Worth £15 of anyones money. ... Read the complete review
