Advantages: Fine platform game with plenty of originality
Disadvantages: similar to the others
Of all the Crash series, my opinion is that Crash Bandicoot 3 is by far the best. With its huge gameplay, colourful graphics and numerous challenges, there is no end to the fun that can be extracted from this game. There are a lot of additions from the first two games, such as being able to have an extra step in the air and the longer spinning time. You have to use these to complete most of the levels later on. Along with Crash comes the usual array of friends or vehicles, most notably the jet ski and the aeroplane. These are both quite hard and it is particularly hard to complete them when you are competing for the best time. Sorry, but I can’t suggest any ways to do it because, as I found out, you need and element of luck to do the levels. Another addition are the dying sequences, which may not sound too appealing, but are humerous all the same. Whether its being kissed by the frog or being cut in half by the sword , they are just a nice addition which for once make dying fun. The levels are much the same as the old ones, and as you would expect the concept is much the same: run in a straight line grabbing boxes and killing things (the game is a lot more fun than that sounds). There is also races on motorbikes which is another fun addition, and this is one of the levels which must be completed. The bike takes some time to get used to and also watch out for the holes because they lose a lot of time. Beware of the speed pads as well, because some of them will send you off course. Crash Bandicoot 3:Warped in Time is a fantastic game, and it will even make the Crash newcomer have a good time. If you don’t like Crash, buy it. If you like Crash, buy it. Either way, buy it because it is a truly great game.
