Advantages: Quite fun, Crash Bandicoot design/ characters

Disadvantages: Can be repetitive and frustrating!

Crash Bash is the fifth game in the famous Crash Bandicoot series. Crash Bash is unlike most other Crash Bandicoot games as it is a party game and basically lots of mini-games. Crash Bash is also the last Crash Bandicoot game on the original Playstation.

In Crash Bash there are 3 different modes: Adventure (1-2 players), Battle (1-4) and Tournament (1-4). The game is definitely most fun with other people like all party games (similar to a real party - the more the better!)

The main mode is Adventure where the player has to play through the mini games and get a set amount of gems, crystals and trophies to play the boss level. Once you have completed the boss level you can move onto another level through the warp rooms.

The Minigames

Most of the Minigames are great fun and are really enjoyable to play through. The mini-games include Ballistixs, Polar Push, Pogo, Tank wars, Crash Wars and a couple of others!

Ballistixs - This is my favourite game and involves pushing, deflecting, forcing the ball or balls into the opponents goals and not let any in yours! This game is very addictive but can be frustrating at the same time! As you progress through the levels you get things like magnets to make it easier/harder!

Polar Push - The aim of this game is to gallop around on polar bears on an iceburg and try to knock the other players off the edge! This is also quite fun to play but is also a little bit stupid!

Pogo - You are on a pogo stick and capturing squares and must then break a special type of box to bank their points. This is a very competitive game and also a very annoying one! With the combination of bombs, speedy boots and lightning and other things it turns crazy!

Tank Wars - You are driving a tank and must eliminate your enemies! You can shoot them and use bombs. To heal you can find wumpa fruits which heal you. This is a game that in my opinion is about luck and you can not seem to win in streaks!

Graphics - The graphics are quite good for the time and are still Ok but nothing like current games on the Xbox 360/ Playstation 3!

I think Crash Bash is a fun game for the Playstation and is best played with others. It is essentially lots of different mini games with a Crash Bandicoot theme and characters! It may be quite old now but can still be enjoyed! This is good fun retro gaming!

I think this game is great for Crash fans but not for those who are not as they may find the games repetitive, frustrating and maybe even boring! Add a star if you like Crash and minus a star if you don`t!
