There is no doubt for me even after all these years when it comes to arcade and action racing games that Mario Kart sits atop the pile, so far I think the DS version is the best ever however around about the time when Crash Tag Team racing came out, it was Mario Kart 64 that was the king of the fun racing games. I don't think any other game on the N64 got even close to it for levels of fun, so how did the Playstations equivalent to Mario fare with Crash Bandicoot and his buddies?

Pretty well actually, although a far from original idea for a game they did add the fact of racing with two characters which in a strange twist of fate Nintendo would adopt for the Gamecube game Mario Kart Double Dash

The graphics in CTTR were pretty good and similar to that of Nintendo's, cartoonish characters all equipt with different little weapons to help them win their races.

With plenty of cars and tracks to play with , Crash is defintley one to keep around for a while, it's a great alternative to plugging in your N64 and just a great fun game alround, thumbs up in the air from me.
