This has to be my best buy in the racing catergory. I bought it when it cane out due to the demo disc I got with a magazine.

I got hooked and decided to part with my money. I havent regretted it yet. The game play is awsome and the races are not all the same, you can go on a track and have all of the luck and go on it again and not hit the jumps right or get the powerup's needed.

There is a number of powerups that you can obtain by driving through a box with a ? on it. If you go through a box with nothing on it then you get apples (wompa fruit), if you get 10 apples then you go faster and the powerups get powerfuller, but if you fall off the track or get hit then you lose the apples.

The power ups get better by being faster, more reactive or lasts longer. there is also an awsome arcade game where you can have one or moreplayers and race againts each other and the computer in the same race.

On the adventure game, you race in tracks and earn cups. when you get 4 cups you race against a boss and if you win you get a key. After collecting so many keys you can open doors and go on to race more people. to compleat the game you need 16 cups, 18 relics (a relic is a award when you go around a certin track under a time, you have boxes with certain numbers on it 1,2 or 3 that stops the clock for what ever number is on the box), 20 ctr tokens ( you have to go around a track collecting the letters c,t and r and win the race) 5 gems ( when you have collected 4 ctr tokens of the same colour you race in a gem cup where you race on the tracks on the tracks where you won the ctr tokens) and you have to beat the last boss. not as hard as it seams.
