Cricket World Cup '99 as a game has two obvious points. The first is that it is a cricket game and the second is that it is based on the 1999 world cup teams. Because of this licence and it being an Electronic Arts Sports game all the teams are based on the ones of this period and the same applies for the grounds and stadia used. The graphics are reasonably impressive and the players are well animated, although their shoulders are a little bulky and sometimes they look a little strange..
