There are lots of different settings ranging from "Beginner" to "Expert" so anyone of any skill can use it. I gave it 4*s because it is very fun and keeps you fit if you do a hard enough setting. The only problem is the music. You get a wide selection of tracks to choose from but they fast become very annoying. What i do is turn the sound down and put a...more

Dancing Stage: Euromix (PS): Alright game but overrated! (577 words)

I got this game in a bundle with dancing stage euromix party edition after hearing all the good reviews about it and in my opinion this one is way overrated. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the dancing stage games. I loved party edition and play euromix 2 in arcades when I have a chance. It had a possibilty to be one of the greats though fell short. There are a few modes to play through including arcade where you try and complete 3 dances in a row, workout mode for your healthy exercise. There is also a helpful lesson mode to get you in the rythem and not be falling over yourself, and training mode so you can practise your favourite songs. Arcade ...  Read the complete review

I have thoroughly enjoyed going on the dance machines in arcades, and was very happy to discover that it had been made into a playstation game. I finally gave in yesterday and went and brought it. The value for money is excellent. You get the game, and one dance mat in a set, although you can buy each seperately. The game is useless without the mat however. You can buy a seperate mat, so you can challenge your friends and family. The game is identical to the arcade version. Due to liscencing reasons, some of the songs cant be included, but the best ones are there such as I Will Survive, Mucho Mumbo, Word Up, Video Killed the Radio Star (for the ...  Read the complete review

Joining a gym is *so* 1990s, and Tae-Bo is more like Tae-Boring now that the novelty of doing high-kicks has worn off. So what is the latest keep-fit fad then? Eating cardboard? Jogging to work? No...see, playing Dance Dance Revolution's where it's at. The Playstation made gaming popular, and worrying statistics reeled off on weekly documentaries showing how fat Britain is getting is sure to make this little deal popular. For less than £30 you get the game AND the dance mat, so you can have fun and keep fit all at once! I'm sure you've all seen the hulking great arcade cabinet, adorned with sweaty teenagers making fools of themselves...well, now ...  Read the complete review

Those of you that know me will also know about my popstar dancing queen mad 7 year old daughter. I've written this review as this game turned out to be her top favorite pressie this christmas ( and ours! ) The Rave Station Dance Mat is endorsed by Marc ET, World Freestyle Dance Champion and marathon dance Guiness record holder. What you need to play. A Playstation. ( you know what this is! ) PS1 or 2. A Rave Station. Basically, The Rave Station is a durable plastic mat that you plug into the joypad socket of your Playstation 1. Instead of using your agile fingers to control characters in a game, you've got to use your ...  Read the complete review

Dancing Stage Euromix is a dance game for the playstation where you have to press keys on the contoller in time to the music and in the order shown by arrows scrolling up the screen. After playing the arcade version of this game, I decided it was so good I wanted to buy a copy for my playstation, or a similar game. After looking in various computer game shops, I bought "Bust a Groove" (See my review on this) and was disappointed as it was not as good as the arcade version of this game. I finally found this one to buy via the internet. I have separately bought a dance mat for dancing games on the playstation, and in my opinion, this is the ...  Read the complete review
