... active but they don't like traditional sports etc, you wont have much of a problem getting them on the dance mat as it is very fun. There are lots of different settings ranging from "Beginner" to "Expert" so anyone of any skill can use it. I gave it 4*s because it is very fun and keeps you fit if you do a hard enough setting. The only problem is the music. You get a wide selection of tracks to choose from but they fast become very annoying. What i do is turn the sound down and put a...more

You've probably all come across a dance machine in the arcades or in my case the local bowling alley and I bet those of you that have seen one have always wanted to try it. I myself always did but never had to guts to try in public in case I was terrible at it which is why when I heard about the playstation game I instantly thought now where can I get me a playstation? Friends of mine all flocked out to buy them and that meant everytime we went out they wanted to show off in the middle of the bowling alley that they could do the fast songs. Jealousy was beginning to take over and I thought I must get me a playstation!! Christmas came along and with my money ...  Read the complete review

I bet you never thought that spending hours on a playstation could be good for your health. Well, you were wrong. Euro Dance Mix is a dancing game for the PSX1. You need a dance mat to play this game. I bought my mat for £20 from HMV. The mat is a large plastic pad which you plug into the playstation and allows you to perform the controls using your feet. Dancing Stage EuroMix cost me £18.99 from Game Spot. I checked around a few places before buying it and all of the prices were around the £20 mark. I think this is good value, especially considering how much use you get out of the game. ~~The Packaging~~ I will be honest here. The cover ...  Read the complete review

I have thoroughly enjoyed going on the dance machines in arcades, and was very happy to discover that it had been made into a playstation game. I finally gave in yesterday and went and brought it. The value for money is excellent. You get the game, and one dance mat in a set, although you can buy each seperately. The game is useless without the mat however. You can buy a seperate mat, so you can challenge your friends and family. The game is identical to the arcade version. Due to liscencing reasons, some of the songs cant be included, but the best ones are there such as I Will Survive, Mucho Mumbo, Word Up, Video Killed the Radio Star (for the ...  Read the complete review

Dance With Me (547 words)

Joining a gym is *so* 1990s, and Tae-Bo is more like Tae-Boring now that the novelty of doing high-kicks has worn off. So what is the latest keep-fit fad then? Eating cardboard? Jogging to work? No...see, playing Dance Dance Revolution's where it's at. The Playstation made gaming popular, and worrying statistics reeled off on weekly documentaries showing how fat Britain is getting is sure to make this little deal popular. For less than £30 you get the game AND the dance mat, so you can have fun and keep fit all at once! I'm sure you've all seen the hulking great arcade cabinet, adorned with sweaty teenagers making fools of themselves...well, now ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dancing Stage: Euromix (PS): Alright game but overrated! (577 words)

I got this game in a bundle with dancing stage euromix party edition after hearing all the good reviews about it and in my opinion this one is way overrated. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the dancing stage games. I loved party edition and play euromix 2 in arcades when I have a chance. It had a possibilty to be one of the greats though fell short. There are a few modes to play through including arcade where you try and complete 3 dances in a row, workout mode for your healthy exercise. There is also a helpful lesson mode to get you in the rythem and not be falling over yourself, and training mode so you can practise your favourite songs. Arcade ...  Read the complete review
