Hearing negative stories about the Playstations Beckham game I was slightly apprehensive when buying the Playstation 2 game. I don't think it deserves all the negative views. I'll admit there are some ify points to the game, names of the players takes away some of the fun, but who can complain when your playing as Beckham!!! Play wise it is farily easy in comparison to other sports games I've played, notably FIFA's contribution. But when you see the players up close you realise how ugly they really are. The gameplay is not as complex as many other football games ie Fifa 2002. Its really more a case of simple pass and shoot and can get extremely repetative. The keepers AI is so bad that they continue to leak ... Read the complete review
