this game is made by the same people as tomb raider and it shows! the game doesn't do the books justice! the graphics are severely limited! the pop up is terrible! the story line is ok ish. the scenery changes very little as its all set inside a huge dungeon where you have to get to the end and kill a big dragon or you die! it does have a very funny start up video, and credit where credits due! however this doesn't make up for the fact this is a pants game and is shadowed by modern equivalents such as vagrant story! ... Death trap dungeon at a glance is just another doom copy and it is! The game does offer some cool weapons like exploding pigs and such like devises. But for a game based on a book! It?s not bad. There seams to be to many levels of the same thing very similar to the tomb raider games but with not as many puzzles or Lara. I would defiantly recommend you play the game before you bye it. Recommended to the doom and tomb raider fans out there. ... Read the complete review

The thought of recommending this game to anyone, when the competition is so strong, is a bit ridiculous. It's a 3D action adventure (read Tomb Raider clone) and as such, it holds the attention slightly, with a decent enough range of weapons and gadgets to keep you occupied, a some reasonable puzzles. There's just nothing here that hasn't been done better somewhere else, though. The hack 'em up parts are entertaining enough, but not very exciting, and the puzzles often seemed based too much on difficult maneuvering than on rational problem solving. Decent graphics, decent sound, slightly clunky controls, in a mediocre game. ... Read the complete review
