I've just completed the game and I can tell you that Dino Crisis is one of the best, if not the best game I've ever played on. In case you don't know the story of the first Dino Crisis game, I will explain it now. You played as Regina, part of a special missions organisation. You, along with your team consisting of Gail, a real warrior, Rick, a computer expert, Tom, who disguises himself as a researcher, and Cooper, who dies at the start (sorry if I spoilt that for you), have been sent to investigate a research facility where Dr Kirk, an expert researcher thought to be dead, has been sighted. You later find out that he has been working on the ... Read the complete review

After playing the superb first game in this series, I simply had to go out and get myself the second. The only thing that stopped me buying the game the moment it came out was a lack of funds, but as soon as that spare £30 came my way, I found myself standing in the queue in Woolworth’s, game in hand. I had a rough idea of what to expect after playing the first game: - A lot of puzzles, dinosaur killing, survivor rescuing and plot twists. The game is based around the same sort of story line as the first one-Experiments into the highly dangerous ‘third energy’ have once again got out of control and have somehow managed to replace a pocket in ... This game is absolutely excellent. I love RPG's and this is honestly the best one I've played. It's from the makers of Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3...I liked the fact that it's not as hard as RE 1, 2, and 3...in Dino Crisis 2...it tells you what goes where...such as the keys to different doors...it tells you what key you need to open the door - The game is very well laid out. The map that Dino Crisis 2 gives you is very easy to read and understand and the addition of the dinosaurs is very well played - each dinosaur has a way to either get away from it or kill it and the dino files that you find along the way tell you there weakness. I am. A little. How many versions of Resident Evil can one company kick out? More than one console can take! But thankfully this game is different, as it relies more on actually going round and killing dinos than having to sit and think about what you are actually doing, or saving all your ammo for the boss at the end. A little more towards an arcade version of Turok and awat from the goings on in Racoon City. My girlfriend plays games like Tomb Raider and Dino Crisis, whereas I don't because I find them mind-numbingly boring and very easy (though Silent Hill was scary and good). "Oh look. I can jump to that," or "Funny that this key is shaped ... Read the complete review

For the second Christmas in a row Santa brought me a Dino crisis game.He must think that I,a loving, gentle soul will enjoy blasting big lizards over my leftover turkey sandwiches.Well he's right and although I finished the game in a couple of days it's clearly a Christmas cracker. Made by Capcom, they of the 'Resident Evil' ilk,the game is a familiar looking third person perspective role playing adventure. The controls will be second nature to all but the Playstation virgin, although slight tweaks, such as the 180 degree turn, have been added to enhance the gameplaying experience. Short of a plot the producers opted for more or less the ... Read the complete review
