Advantages: variety of differnet games, fun multiplayer mode, will last a long time

Disadvantages: not too many cars

i recently bought this game after having played it on a friend's playstation. i had never played the original driver and i was very impressed by this game.

the range of modes of gameplay is wide and with two player games available the game is suitable for playing by yourself or with a group of friends.

the missions that you must complete are suitably challenging so that they are not completed tooo quickly. the police are also intelligent and rather difficult to escape from.

the graphics of the game are sharp and the controls are easy to pick up. initially there are two towns which are massive and take a lot of exploring with another two towns to win. each town has a choice of three cars.

the modes of gameplay allow the user to just explore the town, to try missions, driving games such as chasing, pursuit, checkpoints and surviving a police attack. in two-player mode you can bash each other into submission, race around checkpoints, race for flags or try to escape each other.

the variety of different games is the main attraction of the game along with the slick mission videos and simple gameplay. the only improvement i can think of would be to bring a few more cars into the game.
