Driver 2 (PS) ... game is the next on up from Driver. If you like driving, racing, escaping from cops and changing cars, then this is the game for you. The main extra from Driver is you can now get out of your car and walk and even steal other cars, and if you find an un attended police car you can jump into it and drive off and use the sirens, but your felony goes straight up and the real cops will get you if they see you. Another great vechical to get is the fire engine, again you can also use the sirens, but your felony doesn t shoot up on this one. Also drive down to the air port and you can see the planes. Driver (PS) ... you love driving games? Do you like having freedom of driving on games. Do you also like missions whilst driving? Then this might be the game for you. I bought this game ages a go for about £9 and I thought it was great, at the time I thought the graphics were great, but as time has gone on and things have got better I can see that the graphic are not so good. Your can use the free drive mode, and try and be good, so the police don t chase you and smash your car up, unless you use the cheats so you don t have poile or are industrable. Ridge Racer (PS) ... Racer on the Playstation was a genre defining game - a racer that actually tried to mimic (unsuccessfully at times) a high-octane driving experience. First released in 1994 as a port of the Namco System 22 arcade system board, which made its debut the previous year, the game was an instant success. It was the first game for the Playstation which I owned, and I was instantly impressed with the graphics and speed of the action. Nowadays it looks rather dated, but if you squint your eyes you can see that the overall structure and movement of the graphics bears more similarity to today s modern day racers than to the pre-1993 attempts at driving games.
