Donna Air was unavailable so he lent me this instead ;-) If you have no expectations and want a decent time-waster then you won't be disappointed. Its a 3rd person shooter with a bit of puzzle solving to break up the carnage. The game consists of Dook travelling through 3 timezones, the Wild West, ancient Rome and "Medieval times", shooting most everything that he comes across with a satisfying array of weaponry. The gameplay is "like" the glorious Tombraider in that you can traverse the scenery, ... Read the complete review

At the tender age of Thirteen i loved the game Duke nekem3D, it was an escape rounte from the prim and proper life that i lead, i used spend hours running around "kicking alien butt" and listeneing to his amusing anekdotes, so i assumed that i would enjoy the new one as much, but i didn't, i must have grown out of it or something, because after 5 minutes of beating the crap into aliens i just got bored, and that was it, it never came out of the game graveyard that is my wardrobe. This is a brilliant game but I think anyway it is a lot better with the cheats. But first the plot, you are duke nukum out to kick some searious alien ass, the aliens are holding some woemen hostage!!!! Any way you have to complete levels ect with a range of over 20 wepons this game rules! Anyway onto the cheats!! if you go on 1 player and plug in player 2 controle and press start (on the player 2 controle) a list of cheats comes up ie god mode, all wepons ect!! With flame thowers and lazers this game is brillient fun, altough it is an 18 ... Read the complete review

First of all lets get a few things clear. This is a simple game at heart, not much of a plot. You are Duke Nukem a hero who has to make his way around a number of levels set in different ages destroying all those he comes across, usually lizards or stetson wearing pigs. As you progress you pick up ammo and extra weapons to blow up,fry,de-energise,stab or generally mutilate your adversaries in a variety of ways while collecting keys in order to access secret areas, doors and other levels. The thing about this game is initally you tend to get killed before you've built up much of an arsenal. With the following cheats you can start the game, activate the ... Read the complete review

Playability takes over from snazzy effects, focuses on the gameplay, wonderful and simple graphics, astounding multi-player, it'll make you laugh, smile and vomit in the space of a minute
Won't be liked by the EA Sports junkieslimited one-playersome of the games are a little 'samey'
Spyro: Year of the Dragon (PS)
Great fun for any age, great story, great graphics
Game can end a little quick
Alundra (PS)
Immsersive story, multi-genre gameplay, puzzles and riddles, plenty of weapons and items,
Graphics out-dated but that adds to the gameplay, not suitable for younger children,
