Advantages: Gripping story, good graphics, amazing gameplay

Disadvantages: requires alot of time

Final fantasy 7 was the first offical ps1 release for the series, oringally intended for the N64. This was the first chance square soft had too show off their almost life like cut scence graphics.

The story has always been the largest part of the final fantasy series, and this game gets the player so deep in with the characters, learning every characters past at some point.

The gameplay consists of a turn based battle, the player gets a chance to attack, then the monster does. This leads more to stragetic thinking then to hack n slash.

The game spans across 3 discs and completing the actual storyline is only one part, there is a host of mini games and side storys , including 2 hidden characters and several monsters stronger then the final boss.

A truely epic game which will challenge the best of players, if you havent heard of this game by now where have you been, you need this game.
