Advantages: Everything

Disadvantages: Nothing its Final Fantasy VII

This is probably the most memorable Final Fantasy game in the entire series. It is the very first to introduce the 3D game engine to the series, making everything rendered 3D and in cartoony way very realistic. This is officially the best selling Final Fantasy title and is notible for its graphics, music, story and gameplay.

The story centers around Cloud Strife, a mercenary who joins with other characters - Barret, Tifa, Red XIII, Cid, Cait Sith, Yuffie and Vincent. Another more memorable character is Aeris, a love interest of Cloud's and probably the most memorable scene in the entire game is the end of Disk 1 and Aeris last prayer. The party all join to stop megacorporation Shinra who is draining the planet of it life source which Shinra are using for energy. The story eventually thickens and the most evil baddy is introduced as the party try to stop Sephiroth. He is on his own journey to destroy Shinra and the world by slamming a giant meteor into it. The ending sets of the best peice of Final Fantasy music with Cloud and Sephiroths last battle, One Winged Angel.

If you get this game you will not be dissapointed. It has also spawned a DVD Movie sequel, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Overall this is in my top 10 games I've played.

Summary: Its Final Fantasy VII what more can you say??
