Final Fantasy III (PS)

This review is about the game Final Fantasy III for the Snes, it is an old classic game done by Square-Enix, but also not the best they have done. Some people say that Final Fantasy III is other words Final Fantasy VI, but those people are right, it is a complete different final fantasy. You can only have 3 people at once on each battle, as the old standard form of final fantasy. The battling is you have choices of what you want to do, you can attack, or use magic, if you have enough MP (Magic Points). The best game ever? Just plain good, nothing wrong with it at all. If they were to re-release it for a console capable of better graphics and not change any of the sound, gameplay etc... then Square and Nintendo would surely have a hot seller. The graphics on SNES are good but if they were better you could appreciate the game a lot more. The soundtrack has to be the best one ever made as there aren't any flaws in it at all. If I had to criticise one thing about the soundtrack it would be that it is looped and re-used too often in the game but then this is due to the limited space available on SNES cart. This game is my favourite game, in the world, bar none... ever. But don't get me wrong. If you don't agree, that's fine by me. There are lots of fantastic games, and so not everyone's going to agree. For some it’s the best RPG of all time, I don’t think it’s the best but it does come close. This is actually final fantasy 6 it was just the 3rd one to be released in America. You may be thinking why do I like an old Snes game but if you like Final Fantasy a lot you will love this one. Everyone is always raving on about how good the new final fantasy games are.... well I think that is just not true. Yeah so the graphics look really good, O.K. so there are new features in the gameplay, so what... I got bored with FF7 after about 8-10 hours, FF8 was worse (I got bored after about 6) In my opinion the best two final fantasy games have to be FF3 and FF5 on the snes.
