About a month ago I bought Formula one 2001, I was very excited to put it into my playstation and when I did I knew I had wasted a lot of money. The game is the first formula one game to have the 2001 cars and drivers so thats why I bought it. The reason I hate it is because its so easy and not fun. Its not fun because you just fly past the other drivers no problem. I really hate buying games that are so easy like this one. As soon as the race starts no matter what position I start in I always get into fist place before the first corner. Let me make one thing clear - I love motor racing. No, I worship at the altar of motor racing. I also love motor racing games, stretching way back to the likes of Crazy Cars and Stunt Car Racer on the Amstrad. For these reasons, I feel well qualified to make the following statement: Do not, under any circumstances, pay £30 for this game. Why? I'll get to that in a minute, but first, lets get to the good stuff (and to be fair, there is plenty of it). As the name suggests, there are 2001 stats, so if you want to recreate Juan Pablo Montoya's heroics at Interlagos, you can.
