About a month ago I bought Formula one 2001, I was very excited to put it into my playstation and when I did I knew I had wasted a lot of money. The game is the first formula one game to have the 2001 cars and drivers so thats why I bought it.

The reason I hate it is because its so easy and not fun. Its not fun because you just fly past the other drivers no problem. I really hate buying games that are so easy like this one. As soon as the race starts no matter what position I start in I always get into fist place before the first corner. The driving simulation in the game is the worst, you don't even need to brake before turning into a corner.

Its such a shame the game is so easy and boring because everything else in it is good, like the graphics. The graphics are brilliant and very realistic unlike the racing. There is also enhanced car damage and realistic collisions, punctures and tyre blow outs. If you finish a race you can see the highlights with rewind and slow motion. It is also the first game in a long time to have commentary from Murry Walker and Martin Brundle.

The best thing in the game is the two player. You can even do a two player championship which would be a lot of fun if the game was more of a challenge.

Its best not to buy this game becuase it is no fun at all. The makers of the game have let me down before with racing games so I would also recommend not to buy there racing games.
