I'm a great fan of the Grand Prix series. I've played all the games to death. So when GP3 2000, the first official upgrade for an F1 game, came out, I had to get it. It upgraded the game and I thought it would be great. OK, it was the year 2001 and a 2001 upgrade would have been better, but I still thought it might be relatively good. I thought wrongly. If id known what it was going to be, I could have saved myself 15 quid by simply downloading unofficial upgrades. Sure some new tracks and liveries, the main features of the upgrade, but I can download them. Microrprose had supposedly added stop and go penalties, which they hadn't. THeyd ... When i originally bought Grand Prix 3, i was amazed at the incredible graphics, and the attention to detail, it truly was magnificent. The handling of the cars was immense, and the accuracy of the tracks was mouth watering. It would be hard to believe that i actually have a criticism for this game. The game is very demanding on your PC if you want to view the game with the great graphics and detail. This of course can slow the game down dramatically which leaves you with two options. 1.
