Advantages: Realistic, authentic, better than anything else on the market!
Disadvantages: hmmm.... let me get back to you - it might talk a while for me to think of anything wrong with this product
Grand Prix 3 2000 Season is the Formula One racing simulationgame that captures the complete 2000 Grand Prix season. It features real circuits, real teams, real drivers and real cars, all of which have been accurately reproduced as licensed by Formula One Administration Limited. Created by Geoff Crammond, the genius behind the best selling GP series, this expansion pack for GP3 took racing to the next level, by enhancing the spirit of F1 and bringing racing simulation at its best to the PC. Unlike EA Sports F1 games, this game is very accurate, as data from the Orange Arrows F1 team was used to create accurate models, sounds and forces placed on the cars. Would you rather have a very accurate simulation, or something which is cosmetically sound and up-to-date but lacks in the simulation department? Well I prefer to have a better experience. This is why this game is the king of all racing simulations. The detail is overwhelming, and you are always learning about the programme This expansion pack included the new Indy and Sepang Circuits, as well as enhancing the 3D graphics on other tracks. As well as this improved debris effect and pit-car radio, adds to the overall experience. Also this version offers a new competition ? Quicklaps ? where up to 22 cars can compete for Pole. One of the main advantages is the increased replay mode ? allowing you to view an entire race as if you were watching the real thing. The detail in this game cannot be matched by any other F1 sim, and Crammond has always pushed the boundaries of current technology to the max. This game offers the F1 fan a very realistic view of how an F1 car behaves, while it also offers those f you out there who are not interested in this sport, a great and easy game to play. Tweaking in the setup of the car is very complicated, and has left me confused in the past! If this game was to be improved in anyway, I would introduce the use of the safety
and medical cars, as this is all that is missing. Maybe also a parade lap, and a virtual grid walkabout would be good. However, the introduction of Murray Walker splurging out would ruin the authentic racing experience which only GP3 2000 Season has been able to offer.
