Advantages: Fun, colourful, entertaining, challenging, addictive

Disadvantages: too difficult for young children, addictive.

A cute little puzzle game from Monolith, Gruntz centres around a race of bizarre goo-based creatures who are lost in another world and need to solve a series of complex puzzles in order to get home.

The game is in standard RTS format, the player can control up to 10 gruntz at once, and have them stand on switches, use items in conjunction with their surroundings, distract other gruntz with toys and battle other gruntz with a very large array of weapons, many of which are quite surreal.

A lot of the gruntz' responses are smart-alec quips in high-pitched tones and references and quotes from movies.

The target audience seems to be childish adults and teens, as most of the references are too adult in theme for children, and the puzzles are a little too hard. All the same, its a fun game that is very addictive and easy to waste weeks playing :D

Summary: Good for people who enjoy solving puzzles.
