Welcome Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry! This role-playing-game come platform game is based on the adventures of a young chap called Harry Potter. Your task, if you chose to accept it, is to guide Harry around this magic and mysterious castle of a school. Hogwarts isn't any ordinary school and Harry isn't any ordinary young wizard! This game (for the Playstation, but is also out for the PC and Gameboy) is heavy based on the best selling book written by JK Rowling. I'm not really a playstation addict, infact it’s actually my boyfriend’s machine. I am however, a big kid and a Harry Potter obsessive. So when I got this game for my birthday I was dubious about how much I was going to enjoy it. As with the film, I already had an image of Hogwarts and the characters in my head, and I didn't think someone else’s portrayal would be the same. I WAS SOO WRONG!!! From the moment you start the game you are there in Hogwarts, if you have read the book you immediately see that the detail is imppecable. I just got this game today and beat it in four hours. It’s a great game with awesome graphics just a little bit short. The quidditch tournament mode is awesome and adds a lot of replay value. This game never slows down, I wish I had had some free time to explore around the castle a bit but you always had to go somewhere or do something. The Unreal engine serves this game very well.... I didn't have any problems with the camera angles it always made sure you could see where you were going and your surroundings.
