Edge of Chaos: Independence Wars 2, is a very well thought out game, it is like a game that I have wrote a previous opinion on, called Hardwar. Only this game offers a lot more freedom of movement, you can travel between several different galaxies, YES that was the word I used, galaxies. Each with their own different solar systems, in order to seek vengeance for the death of your father.

You start the game in a basic ship, called the command section, along with your trusty computer program of a friend, CLAY. Clay is a floating red head with lots of information for you. He gives handy little hints throughout the game. Although he can be a little annoying at times. Anyway, you have to do a couple of introductory missions just to get you accustomed with the controls of your new ship. These are quickly followed by you finding a lost space station that happened to belong to your late grandmother, who was a notorious space pirate.
The game then leads you to make a revenge attack on your fathers killers, but as you are about to get the equipment that you need from your fathers old hanger, you are arrested by the person who killed your father. the killer of your father, has became a high ranking officer within the navy.

The navy is the policing body of the game, they patrol the universe and take care of any hassle, they have quite advanced ships and always call for backup from heavy cruisers when they are attacked.
Anyway, after being arrested, you are put in jail for a sentance of life, i.e. until you die. but seeing that you are a 10 year old boy this could take a while. So 10 or so years pass, you make friends within the prison. And eventually you break out and escape.

The story goes on, but to tell anytmore would be unfair.

This game is one of the best discount games that I have seen in a long time. It cost me a mear £6.67, 3 for £20. at my local Game ltd store. This was one of the best £6.67 that i have spent. As this game has offered me countless hours of gameplay and i still havent completed it fully.
This game takes into account every aspect that a space flight sim gamer would want, different ships, weapons and thousands of characters to interact with. You can either follow the story or else just be a space pirate and raid other huge transporter ships.
