International Superstar Soccer 2000 (PS)

I'm an avid fan of the ISS series. Last year, I bought ISS pro Evolution, and enjoyed the game immensely. When this game hit the shelves, I went out and bought it, under the impression that as it came out after Evolution, it would be better, even though it is in a slightly different series. What a mistake to make! The game is quite poor in every aspect, and it seems to have lost the great realism that exists in the evolution games. I fail to understand how Konami can make a game as great as ISS pro Evolution, and follow it up with a substandard football game. If your like me and love the ISS football series from Konami then you`ll be dissapointed with the latest version. I was looking forward to this latest edition so much, the reason being that my ISS Evolution is becoming boring. I am one of many who enjoy these as compared to FIFA games. This is mainly because the playability is so much better. It just needed a boost of presentation and a few new moves maybe but no they had to go and spoil it. After following EA`s Fifa games for 4 years I never believed that I would come across a game anywhere near as exciting and challenging. I was wrong ! This has been a good game for me, but it is no way in the class of any of the FIFA games. It just doesnt reach the quality of FIFA in terms of Graphics, additional features and the things you can do on the game. I have got both games, and i would play Fifa 8 TIMES OUT OF 10, that is the differnce in quality However, if you want a change then this is the one to get, and i have enjoyed playing it for many hours with mu friends round my house.
