Iss is a game that deserves an award, make that ten. ISS uses the old skool rules of playability first, the game is so playable and so addictive that whole weekends can pass by before you realise you've forgotten to eat, sleep and go to work. ISS is brilliant, it has great graphics, the fluidity of players is astounding and the control is ... Read the complete review

Where to start..... First Came the FIFA series the ISS series with the latest edition of ISSP Evolution which to be honest means i will Be very dubious to EVER purchase a FIFA game unless the improve the Gameplay 100%. ISSP evoloution has it all, the moves are slick and just amazing to watch, there is no more of the fifa style of ... Read the complete review

As far as soccer games go ISS Pro Evolution has certainly Proved to be the best ever! The playability is as good as it gets and there is a wide range of game modes to choose from, these modes include National team leagues, cups and a European club league. The team kits are up-to-date and very accurate; this contributes to the realism of the ... Read the complete review

Iss 99 is the best football game I have ever played, anyone who likes football will definately like this game, if they don't, they must be mad. There are two bad points about it is that you can't play club football, unless you buy the proper team yourself, and that you have to edit every player on the game, but as soon as you get that out ... Regardless of what other people say and do, this is without doubt this is the cream of football games on the Playstation. Yes, it may not have the fancy license that FIFA games have, but his has something better, playability. This game is superb in terms of player controls, each character always seems to have enough space to turn, pass, run and ... Read the complete review

This ISS Pro game has wiped all the other ISS Pro games off the map in fact all the latest football games available on the playstation! Why buy it? I hear you ask, well the graphics are great and unlike Fifa 2000 there is a great atmosphere which really gives you the edge to win the match. Also unlike other leading football games the ... This game has got good graphics and the players look good.I think on this game they should sort out the players names because there all jumbled up and the same on all football games the cometry repeats its self. Also on this you can loads of differant tornements and leages you can make your own cup too you can do your own transfers you can pick all ... ISS PRO EVOLUTION - Konomi’s seminal football series just got a whole lot better. Have one to four players playing as one of fifty three international teams in one of four game modes. You could also have a practice on the very good training mode which will improve your skills a lot. Once you have scored a goal you can replay it from the view ... Read the complete review

International Superstar Soccer Evolution is the greatest game in the world. (Bar none), Period. This game is quite simply head and shoulders above any football game that I have played. There may be other games with flashy movies, slick menu systems, the latest rocking music, the full licensed players. But they are rubbish. ... Read the complete review

Unfortunately, due to the lack of the all-powerful FIFA license Konami will never achieve quite the same sales as Electronic Arts will achieve, however to the true footie game afficionado there can only be one cup winner. Watching 2 good ISS players against each other can be as exciting as watching the real thing. From deft chips over an ... Read the complete review

The most celebrated words in football after "Manchester United nil". There's been a buzz about the latest ISS since alpha versions started circulating around the industry early last year. During that time we've seen two more FIFAs, Premier League Stars, UEFA Striker, UEFA Champions League and Viva Football, among others, ... Read the complete review

ISS is the best football game on the planet (excluding the real thing). Everyone has always said that Fifa is the best game and always wil be but that is complete rubbish. ISS Pro Evolution is treble as realistic mainly because you actually have to shoot with the risk of putting it wide or over the top no matter how close you. Whereas in Fifa ... ISS is better than Fifa. It is more realistic and everytime your threw on a one on one you have to put the ball in the net not just hold down shoot and watch it fly the top corner. The goalkeepers can't fly and when you tackle you ocassionly loose the ball. Fifa is not the best football game on the playstation but ISS is. Iss is much more ... Read the complete review

This game offers a lot of quility and is well worth buyin. One further comment, for those still addicted to ISS Pro and wondering whether to part with their cash - this is not a mere update with new teams and a few tweaks here and there. Although it looks very similar and the basic controls are the same, it plays very differently. In fact, ... Read the complete review

Owning both a PSX and an N64 i was intersted to compare the versions of ISS. Obviously the PSX loses out in the visuals stakes but it matches it for gameplay. Easy to use controls have always been at the forefront of the ISS series, as has realism. The game feels and plays like a real footy match, even down to Norway defending all the time. The ... This game is probably the only chance at knocking FIFA from it's position as the best football game on the playstation and after EA's disappointing FIFA 2000 it has. Although Konami are not as high profile as EA they have a key advantage over the FIFA developers, they don't rush their games and end up producing a game similair to ... Read the complete review

If Charles Darwin is right, all other football games look set to go the way of the dodo - and there'll be no regrets about lack of diversity from me. ISS Evo has blown all-comers out of the water, which is no surprise really as its previous incarnation was already superior to anything else on the Playstation. I do have reservations about ... It's the 88th minute, and En-ger-lund are down 2-1 in the World Cup semi-final. Sheallor to Oren, back to Scales, then out to Backham on the right wing. Sheallor anticipates Backham's perfectly weighted long ball over the heads of the confounded Argentinian defense, and times his run to perfection. Collecting the ball on the edge of the ...
