General/Summary: This is a really innovative game. If you are a budding sports person, you'll love this game a great deal. The thing that stands out for me though is that the game is not really that enjoyable as a one player, but bring two or more human players in and you will have a great tussle to decide who reigns supreme track and field 2000 champion! Overall track and field 2000 is a definite improvement on track and field 1 due to the greater variety of events! Basically the title sums it up. This is one of those games that has been through so many revamps, either you love it or you hate it. The gameplay still remains the same, since the old arcade versions. You basically have 12 events that you have to button bash your way through to win that gold medal. When i say button bash you have to tap the O and Square buttons AFAP alternatly to make your ahleate run faster etc... However, 2000 moves away just from the button bashers and throws in a few new ones such as horse vault (need to b v good at timing) and rowing.
