Jade Cocoon is an RPG that revolves around capturing monsters, merging them and using these monsters in order to progress through the storyline. The storyline revolves around trying to save you're village from destruction at the hands of a mysterious evil force. Jade Cocoon is quite similair to Pokemon in many aspects, especially pokemon colleseum. The player or his monsters must fight of against groups of enemy monsters using abilities and moves that can be aquired along the way. Jade cocoon is a nice little game for the ps2,you play as a indian type villager whos community have a strange relasionship with the monsters that live in the local woods,as a cocoon master you must charm the local mosters and turn them into silk coocons you can then take the cocoons back to your village and create powerul monsters with them to progress further into the forest. Please note that my review and rating does not take into account the multiplayer aspect of this game. Despite the conflict between the people of Parel and the monsters known as Minions residing in the forest, the village of Syrus would eventually become one to coexist with it's surroundings. I bought this game last week after browsing in Virgin and coming across a variety of titles for £10 each. Having read about several I came across Jade Cocoon and thought it sounded like the kind of game i like. I'm glad to say I have not been disappointed and think it was an excellent purchase! The premise of the game is quite complicated and I was a little confused at first.
