Jonah Lomu rugby, a classic sports game. It is still the best rugby game produced, (there isnt much competition) but this game is so addictive. It is old but hasnt decreased in enjoyability over the years. The years of developements have shown the game's graphics to be slightly dated but it is highly addictive. There are 32 different teams to choose from so you can be your favourite team (the best is New Zealand) and you can select from the following modes of play: Friendly, Tournament, World Cup, Territories Cup and Classic. The best advice is to start off playing friendlies until you are good enough to take on the best in the world in the world cup. When this is won ... Read the complete review

Wow at this price I would advise anyone who reads this and still has a playstation lurking around to snap this up. From a rugby fan's perspective, this game is absolutely fantastic but its great also to see that non rugby fans enjoy it as well. Firstly, the gameplay is fairly good. Rucks and mauls are a bit reliant on button bashing, but open play feels to work very well. Adding to this in a big way are penalties, which often seem to be awarded in just the right times. This has always been a problem with the more recent rugby releases. Secondly, there a little touches which just make you feel good inside when you're playing. For example the commentary ... I'm generally a sports fan, I like Football the best , I'm a fan of the sort of sport that is Wrestling and I also like NBA and NFL. Plus if you count NHL games I like Ice Hockey too, but one sport i've just never had time for is Rugby. I don't hate it,it just doesn't appeal to me at all it's so colourless on the eye that I don't see it having any attraction to those who aren't actually playing the game. But one day in my local Games shop I swapped my played to death copy of Rapid Racer for Jonah Lomu rugby because there was really nothing else on offer, Much to my surprise what I found was another really fun game and because of this i'd move Rugby up next to ... I have not played that many rugby games before, in fact only two, and the other one being on the megadrive. The game does seem to be quite realistic but the team and players involved are not. Every tackle attempted is pulled off, and every time Jonah Lomu (surprise surprise) gets the ball, he’ll just run through the other team and score a try. I am not a keen follower of the rugby game, and am not sure if this really happens every time he gets the ball. There are teams such as Tonga and Sri Lanka, which I think haven’t even got a team in real life. The game is not very difficult to master the keys and to master the tournaments, when you play as New Zealand. ... Read the complete review

The best and probably the only rugby game for the playstation and it is named after the big man himself JOnah Lomu.I am Australian but this guy has undoubted talents even though he plays for the 'second-best' team in the world. The game is fantastic and the controls though confusing will be mastered after a couple of games against some lower teams like singapore yes singapore. The game has plentyof national teams and competitions including the tri-nations and the five-nations.The movements are quite realistic and the conversions are quite easy to after a while. A conversion for SPORTS MASTERS ... Read the complete review
