Rushed out a year after the original KKND game in 1998, KKND2: Krossfire is yet another derivative real time strategy game firmly in the Command and Conquer mould but with a little more inventiveness evident in its design this time around. As in the original KKND game KKND2 is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which technologically advanced bunker-dwellers go up against animal-controlling tribal mutants, but this time there is a third race to play as or against in the form of a race of robots initially designed to serve humanity who have since gone their own way.
