Inside every football fan there’s a manger screaming to get out. LMA Manger 2001 is your oppurtunity to prove it. Football management games – aren’t they great. You take control of your favourite football team and the rest is up to you. Delve into the transfer market, build new stadia, sack your incompetent staff…but if you don’t win games you will be out on your ear faster than Michael Owen over six yards. Until the League Managers Association Manager series began the undisputed king of the sims was the Championship Manager range. However, the new king stepped in by dumping the evil nest of menus inflicted on us by the PC ... Read the complete review

I was stuck on what I could write another opinion on, which would be very informative to the reader. Then I came up with a solution, LMA Manager 2001; yes, once again it is another opinion about a computer game. I actually brought this game with my Dooyoo vouchers which they very kindly sent me about 4 weeks ago. I have been playing the game since then about 2 hours every 1-3 days. I have to say once again it is another game, which I am very addicted to. This game has nearly everything and I would like to take you through some of the options, which are available. To start with, this game has certainly been improved compared with the first LMA Manager ... Read the complete review

Bored with the summer recess and lack of football? Depressed that Match of the Day isn’t on any more? What will you do without John ‘Mottie’ Motson’s warbling commentary or the lack of Andy Gray’s statistics for a whole three months? Well hooray for Codemasters! They’ve brought out LMA Manager 2001, the latest in their range of football management games. Will it be ‘eat my goal’ or is it another damp goalless bore? LMA Manager is a huge game. The music ‘Eat My Goal’ gets you going right from the start. The graphics are impressive and it has a warm feeling that… maybe just maybe, this could be the ... Read the complete review

An excellent follow on game from the first LMA Manager!,this game has given me loads of great gaming action. Since its inception in 1999,codemasters take on the beautiful game won that has over many fans, including many of my friends including myself, thanks to its eye friendly presentation and simple navigation; something managment games are not exactly renowned for. Now donning its oversized sheepskin coat for a return fixture. Opening up the preceedings,a tantilising video sequence of intricately detailed characters displays all the stresses and strains of managment. It's clear for all to see:at the end of the day,a good result is all that matters. ... Read the complete review
