Advantages: 3D effects, game layout and story boards
Disadvantages: 2player slightly dissapointing
Personally I think this is one of the best games available on the playstation. Medal of honour is one of those games I think that is made to suit the typical male sterotype aged 18-30 who always dreamed of being the hero soldier. The background of the story is, you take the role of special agent Patterson an elite American soldier placed behind enemy lines to undertake tasks that were too dangerous for other soldiers(or failed soldiers). The game is split into 7 levels, with each level split into a further 3 sub-levels getting harder as the game advances. The 3d graphics in this game are excellent and keep up with the rapid soldier movements. What makes this game special is the ability of the game to react to different movements you make, the enemy soldiers react differently at different stages of the game, almost waiting for you to react, or on occasions they tempt you to react. The game offers some comical moments such as soldiers dying with the trigger still pressed or comical attempts to kick or throw grenades back, even theatrical deaths when blown up. Another feature of the game is the video clips between each mission that gives a realistic and historical view to show what actually did happen during the war. The 2 player vs mode is good fun but I think it could do with more scenarios and more selective weapons to make it more enjoyable. All in all a very enjoyable game that eventually once completed over a vast number of hours will leave the game player satisfied on completion.
