You?re a skeleton with one eye, you?ve saved the world once before and they hid you in a museum for your troubles! You?re Daniel Fortesque and you can take off your arm and throw it at people. (Cool, imagine being able to do that in fights!) Confessions first, I didn?t buy this game nor have I played the first one (MediEvil). Instead my particularly sweet girlf went and hired this game for us both to play. (So that meant I had 3 days to finish it or I would have to re-rent or buy it, and I?m skint!) The plot ~~~~~~~~ Apparently in the first MediEvil some dude got hold of a powerful magic spell book and uses the spells in it to do bad stuff ... Read the complete review

Another dose of Dan, will it be good medicine or bad? well, quite simply, this game is a shot in the arm. Of course you've got a fair measure of "more of the same", but when it's done as well as this, then it's no bad thing. One bright light of originality in this sequel that comes to mind straight away is the business with the hands, very reminiscent of the Thing from the Adams Family, these hands scuttle about the place usually following you and if you stand right next to onethen you can take your head off and place it on the hand, you now have control of the hand while it runs around on it's fingers with your head on it's stump. Nice!. ... Read the complete review

Medievils back again and Dan Fortesque is back fighting zombies again but this time in Victorian Britain. Dinousaurs coming to life, Zombies rising from the graves, every type of spooky halloween characters running lose across your tv screens and a good old no-flesh, 1 eyed Sir Dan Fortesque there to fight 'em all off. What more good a adventure game ask for? Medievil 2 is a work of art compared to medievil 1, much better bad guys and the selection of weapons are amazing. The game as being made much harder and a lot more spookier aswell as much more blood and guts (which is what i like to see!). The graphics are fantastic and the sounds and spooky ... Medievil 2 is a sturdy 3D platformer, sequel to the much-acclaimed Medievil that was originally released in late 1998. Again you play as Daniel Fortesque, the amusing walking skeleton, and again you must fight your way through a bunch of levels seeing off a host of bizarre creatures. These include dinosaurs made completely of bone, a variety of circus freaks and robot elephants (don't ask!). It is a decent adventure, but there is precious little of the game that hasn't been done elsewhere, and done better too. The best feature in here is being able to detatch Dan's head and then switch between that and his body, this trick is ingeniously used in some ... Read the complete review

MediEvil 2 on Playstation is the zequel to the brilliant MediEvil (see my other review). Again Sir Daniel Fortescue is resurrected from the dead, and this time sent tinto the 1800s to smote his foe. And, as the era allows, he's got added capabilities including the use of a pistol as well as his trusty sword. Once again the game is not too difficult - with a little patience and thought you can complete the levels in a few weeks of relaxed trying, and enjoy the subtle humour of the game and non-real violence. It's also reasonable priced, probably because it's not quite as agood as its predecessor. Still, worth a punt. ... Read the complete review
