What a breath of fresh air, a 3D platformer with a bit of originality thrown in and right from the moment at the beginning when I discovered I could rip my own skeletal arm off and bash someone over the head with it, I was hooked. Of course ther's much more to this game than clobbering people with your own arm and it's not long before you start collecting some much more effective weapons to go clobbering with, and slicing, and dicing, and spearing, and stabbing, and hammering....etc. you get the idea anyway.With a large and varied array of enemies, some pretty hard to beat, a pretty good selection of brainteasers and a large dose of humour this game goes down a ...

This game was bought for a fiver after delving into a Blockbuster bargain basement bin. The story is set in 1389 in a place called Gallowmere, when an evil wizard called Zarok set about possessing the living inhabitants, killing fluffy animals, creating permanent night, raising the necropolis and hordes of mythical beasts. You know the usual! Deep in the necropolis, the bones of you (Sir Dan Fortesque) have also been awakened, and feeling a little narked, you decide to get Zarok or die trying. A simple storyline, good graphics and humorous set sequences make the puzzles, strategies and fights quite enjoyable. Well worth the fiver I ...

Having read some of the negative reviews I cannot believe my eyes, I absolutely loved this game. The gameplay is spot on and if you are a fantasy-fairytale fan you are in for a real treat. The characters are spot on and the humour is refreshing without being overcooked. Many will recognise the voice of Zarok, the main Boss character (I'm not giving it away). My only criticism would have to be the length of gameplay it is all over far too quickly. I think this game now appears as platinum so do yourself a favour and buy it, excellent. ...
