Micro Machines games have been on the go for many years going back to the SNES and Megadrive I believe. This version of the game is just as good as any other. You take control of mini vehicles from cars to helicopters. Each level is situated in different places such as a bedroom, a laboratory, a school desk etc. Each vehicle has its own abilities, some are fast, some are slow, some can fire projectiles. You can pickup items whilst driving that may give you speed boosts etc. You had better be careful though because your mini machine can fall off the edges of things such as tables and then you will go pooof! What could be more fun than pretending you're still a small kid racing your toy cars round the sitting room? Doing it for real, that's what! If you don't fancy yourself as a bit of a Schumacher, you can start the game off with some lessons in Candy's driving school, but don't be fooled, the lessons aren't always as easy as they look! If you manage to master the techniques here, you can then take your pick of playing by yourself or in two-player mode. Micro Machines V3 is simply an amazing game. Whether playing on your own or with up to 7 friends (yes 7!) it is a fun packed, edge of your seat rollercoaster ride of a game. The gameplay is stunning and the graphics are equally as good. There are loads of tracks for you to learn and it is surprising just how quickly they become ingrained in your brain. There are a lot of options which is to be expected with the mother of all Micro Machines games. In one player mode you can race the challenge (my personal favourite), head to head, time trial challeng/single race.
