Advantages: No cheating, you can play on your own
Disadvantages: You cant move you piece or hold the money
Do you love Monopoly? Do people try and cheat? Can it be a pain with all the little bits? Well Monopoly for the PS1 may be the answer.
You can set up your rules that some peole change, such as: free parking, going round the board once before any purchase, and things like that.
You can have upto 4 players in a game using up to 4 controllers, if you want more than 4 you need a contoller splitter.
I payed £13 for mine quite a while ago, but I think it was well worth the money.
To roll the dice you just simply click them with the controller or plug in a mouse to the Play Station. You can still make deals and things on there. Also you can see clips of the street that you don't see on the board game and also cool animations of you piece and things that happen with an animation.
With the Play Station version you can't really see what money you've got as it's just a figure and you can't hold the Monopoly money in your hand. Also you can't move your own piece around the board, and you also don't get the thrill of being the banker as the PS does it all for you.
I do think its worth getting tho, as you can also play is against the computer.
Summary: Great game I think its well worth it.
