I bought Myth the Fallen Lords as part of the compilation Ten Tons of Fun. After trying out most of the games, it was apparent that Myth was easily the best game here.

It was first released in 1997 and is a 3D strategy game based on fantasy adventure characters. The standard characters available to you are knights, archers, wizards and dwarves that throw firebombs and blow everything up.

The game is highly addictive and each level has a target to reach in order to proceed to the next level, and this is explained to you before the level starts. It has an amazingly intricate storyline, and as you get further and further, a greater variety of characters are available for you to use, such as forest giants, and powerful sorcerers.

The game has a lot of blood and can be very gory at times, but this sets the mood for an excellent, mysterious adventure.

I have still not yet completed the whole game, but I found I was reaching for it time and time again. Hours of entertainment here!
