Nascar 2000 for me is one of the most realistic racing games I've played and have had it for a few years now on the Playstation. EA Sports have done a great job with this version. There are updated drivers, updated tracks, updated cars and much more. Nascar 2000 is more about the racing side of things rather than the special effects. There a few different modes in this game. I would say that despite some inherent flaws, NASCAR 2000 ranks among one of my favorite PlayStation racers. Most people think of NASCAR as just driving fast and turning left (there may be an element of truth involved there). However, this is not so in NASCAR 2000, car setup is the key to success. EA has also created an innovative little game quirk called the interactive pit stop. This invovles you actually pressing buttons to control the pit stop and if you do it right your pit stop is quicker. The car setup affects the handling and speed of your car dramatically.
