... for a while not to be heard from again for about a decade. This playstation revival of the old classic game brings Pac-man back to life with great effect. There are three separate games in this version Pac-man world. Classic Pac-man is the old arcade favourite we are all familiar with over the years. Everything is exactly the same as before, eating pellets and avoiding ghosts to get to the next level which gets increasingly harder the further you go. You amass points as you go. The 2nd game is called PacMan Mazes...more

I'm sure almost all of us have played Pac-man years ago or at least heard of it. It's amazing how such a simple idea for a game could be so popular amongst computer games across the globe. The Pac-Man games have been out for so many years now. They have also been made for so many consoles. Firstly there was Pac-Man. A little yellow thing that looks like an almost complete circle. If you collect the special power bar in each round, you turn super for a few seconds and cant be killed. You are also able to kill the monsters by eating them. But be warned ...  Read the complete review

Pac-Man World - PSX Pac-Man's catchphrase of "Waka waka waka" is a long way from the relative sophistication of Duke Nukem's "I'm going to kick ass and chew bubblegum," or Lara Croft's "Ungh!" He was, nevertheless, the first real gaming icon. Initial appearances in arcade cabinets were closely followed by a plethora of home conversions and handhelds - all of which are equally playable. Considering he's more than a featureless yellow disc, reminiscent of a pie chart, Namco has invested a lot in attempting to give him character over the years. First there was the side-on platform rubbish of Pac-Land, ...  Read the complete review
