This was one of the first PlayStation games I bought.

What really appealled to me was the cute japanese animation (Parappa has his own show in Japan) and the simplicity of the game.

Its easyish to get into, but the levels get increasingly bizarre and difficult!

The idea of the game is to get Parappa, the paper thin dog to rap his way to the top to win the heart of Sunny. To do this, he has to learn to complete certain task by rapping, which include making a cake and learning to drive.

To make Parappa rap, you have to press buttons in time to the sequence at the bottom of the screen. You have to match it perfectly and keep to the same time.

As you do this you get rated, and the aim of the game is to a cool rating on each task...once you get to cool, Parappa can rap on his own with out the guidance of his teachers.

Parappa is a really fun game, which is suitable for all ages, but is mostly aimed at children.
