PaRappa the Rapper was one of the first Japnesse hits to make it big in Europe/America. The control a charater called PaRappa. You meet various different charaters had have to rap with them. You rap by pressing different buttons on the playstation control pad. You must get your raps in the right order and rythynm, and add in some freesylin' rapping to progress to the next level.

The levels are set against a story. As you progress in the game, the story continues with some nice CGI movies sequnces.

The game is very additive. The game is quite dufficult when you get to later levels as the action speeds up. They only problem with the games is that it is too short.
