Advantages: Fun game

Disadvantages: Hard at first

I've always been into football games and management games too, so when PLayer Manager 99 was brought out I was keen to get a look at it, it's funny looking back now at games like these when so much has changed, this was endorsed by Geroge Graham at the time who was the Spurs manager, that makes me feel old!

Graphics - It's more presentation than graphics in this game as it's mostly text and sprite based, everything looks ok and the menus are easy to guide through. Don't watch the games, they look bad 6 out of 10

Gameplay - Well it's all point and click really, but the system runs very quickly and smoothly so thats' all you can ask of a manager game. 6 out of 10

Sound - God, these games are hard to review, again theres not a lot in the way of sound in this game apart from some lowkey music and effects in the background. 4 out of 10

Longevity - This is where it shines, it's not easy but it's no t impossible either, should take a you a season or two to master it so that definitley is a plus point, the more you play the more money you will earn to buy players and nurture young talent so it's worth sticking with. 8 out of 10

Overall - I liked it, it can't rival the PC manager games but no console will, as far as manager games go on this format I thought this was pretty cool. 7 out of 10
